Happy 4th of July. We have been busy launching our new video real estate podcast. Our mission is to educate buyers and sellers in the Long Island Real Estate market on all topics related to real estate including mortgage loans, foreclosures, FHA loans, closing costs, state assisted funding programs, and more.
The show at http://www.youtube.com/user/LiRealEstatePodcast feaures real estate professionals educating the localĀ public. Already, as of this writing, we have 9 videos including a walk-through of an open house in North Babylon with Paul Dougherty of Real Executives and Wells Fargo mortgage consultant, Steve Ochs.
The video podcasts are short and answer questions such as “What is the difference between a foreclosure and short sell?” and “Fixed mortgages vs Adjustable Rate mortgages…”
Our You Tube site at http://www.youtube.com/user/LiRealEstatePodcast will keep growing with new videos each week as trends in the real estate and mortgage markets change. The podcasts will feature new professionals to talk about the trends, issues, and deals.
Long Island Podcast Night at Livin’ Room With The Mondays, Sunday, December 3 December 5, 2006

The Mondays helped the Long Island Podcast Network kick off the 2007 segment of Long Island Podcast Network early on Sunday, December 3 in Glen Cove, NY at the Livin’ Room Lounge.
The Mondays have been a supporting band of the Long Island Podcast Network since the beginning and were played on early shows of the Fresh Music Series.
Members Ken, John, Kevin, and Don rocked the house with songs from their new CD “Storyteller”. This was the first live music gig at the Livin’ Room in a while. Long Island Podcast Network’s Bruce Chambers is now working with the Livin’ Room’s Annisa Watts on a partnership to book bands of most genres including rock, country, metal, and hip hop.
Bruce Chambers was asked by the Mondays’ Ken Carmen to join them on stage for a few songs. Bruce ended up playing on eight songs from the new album Storyteller.
John from JL Video Production Services was there to get it all on digital video. JL’s service will help the Long Island Podcast Network release this as a video podcast both on the LI Podcast Network and on YouTube.com.
On Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 7:00 PM, Checkered Past performs at the Livin’ Room. Come to the Livin’ Room in Glen Cove to watch this cover band rock the house.
Mirage Night Club (Westbury) August 29, 2006

Billed as the “largest club on Long Island,” Mirage is an oasis for Nassau County’s young, trendy types, who make sure they dress to impress when heading to this fashion-is-God nightspot. Styled to astound King Tutankhamun, Mirage sports a contemporary aesthetic heavily influenced by ancient Egyptian art. Alongside state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and video equipment, you’ll see palm trees, bronze statues, a floating sphinx, and Corinthian columns. All the while, some of Long Island’s top DJs spin everything from techno to pulsing house, helping create one of the area’s most happening scenes.
