Interesting post on Time.com about web 2.0 February 5, 2007

If you go to this article on time.com, it talks about the best things that exploded in 2006 like Long Island MySpace and YouTube, but it’s main purpose is to share the cool things that people do to help each other on the web. Web 2.0 is the in thing now and it’s pretty cool with all the new features of the web.
Check out to the article at time.com.
Wikipedia describes Web 2.0 as phrase coined by O’Reilly Media in 2004,[1] refers to a perceived or proposed second generation of Web-based services—such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies—that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users. O’Reilly Media, in collaboration with MediaLive International, used the phrase as a title for a series of conferences, and since 2004 some technicians and marketers have adopted the catch-phrase. Its exact meaning remains open to debate, and some experts, notably Tim Berners Lee, have questioned whether the term has meaning.
I agree. It’s is the way we share information and maybe what people all along have been saying about the web, only now it’s intended purpose is showing.
